TITLE: What if there was a technology enhanced portfolio briefcase that combined uses of computers with the ease of portability the briefcase provides.
 
Facts It will have a touch screen computer/tablet It will contain USB ports It will contain 4G capable Octa-Core chip for internet access It will be styled as a vintage portfolio briefcase It will be portable and lightweight It will provide comfort for lengthy use It will have fingerprint sensor to give extra security It will contain multiple storage pockets It will have laser keyboard and webcam It will allow printing and faxing directly from the device
 
A. Background on the basic product: There are a few briefcases making their way into the technology world. Many of the features we have added combine existing technologies all into one field.
 
B. Describe what currently exists, who makes the product, what different versions exist, etc. • Biometric Briefcase includes a fingerprint scanner to enter the secure briefcase. Project Product Description
1. What is the product? This product combines classic style of a portfolio briefcase with today’s technologies. Using pristine materials for comfort and combining multiple technologies embedded right in the bag this briefcase is ideal for today’s market.
 
2. What is the objective for redesigning the product (why?) The purpose for our product is to allow ease portability and comfort while providing practicality of today’s technological world. Currently people today may carry around a laptop, iPad or tablet, wireless keyboard and mouse, and other related technologies plus the bag to fit it all. While needed to rely on office, school, or home printers and faxes occasionally not available. Our product looks for a way to combine all of those in the ease of one comfortable, lightweight bag perfect for today’s busy individual.
 
3. Who is the audience (who uses this product? What do they want/need?) Our audience is the common student or working individual with needs to access all of today’s technological devices at work, home, and on the go.
 
4. Describe your newly designed product: What does it do that is special and different from existing versions? (Define this) Why is your new design the best design? Our product combines the vintage portfolio briefcase style with light supple leather that will last use after use surrounding a titanium shell will be strong but lightweight for ease. The strap contains extra padding to prevent strain and make the bag perfect to carry around. A fingerprint scanner opens the briefcase to enhance security of our product. Along the classic styled exterior, embedded in the leather is a powermat is used to charge consumers phone/other devices. USB ports can be found along the side to load any needed files to the computer or send to the printer/fax found along the back. Beneath the USB ports lies the 24w ac power adapter to charge the internal lithium battery of our product. The interior is filled with technological specs, as well as ample space for personal items. The opening flap contains a smart screen that is a full functioning computer but light and touch screen as a tablet. Above that there is a webcam and laser to project the computers keyboard. Documents are stored digitally with the large internal memory of our product and can be accessed throughout the touch screen or USB ports. Our product contains multiple zippered and open pockets for personal effects, room to store hardcopies of documents, and other items in the formed titanium shell.
